Dental Assistant/Hygiene Assistant - Parkside Dental Team - Westland, MI

As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include aiding in all aspects of patient care such as room preparation and cleanup, assisting with treatment, treatment plan review with patients, x-rays, and sterilization. Hours for this position will be Tuesday-Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm (one 6:00pm a week), Fridays 8am-2pm and rotating Saturdays 7:45am-1pm. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments - Take digital dental X-rays and scans - Assist with a variety of procedures including fillings, crowns, root canals, implants, etc. - Maintain patient records and sterilize instruments - Provide post-operative instructions Experience: - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant role - Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization methods - Knowledge of various dental software systems such as Denture & Dexis - Understanding of medical imaging techniques and X-ray procedures Joining our team offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued.
