Position Overview This is a hybrid position that combines the responsibilities of a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), Treatment Coordinator, and Front Office Team Member . The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both front-office and back-office responsibilities, seamlessly transitioning between patient scheduling, insurance verification, treatment coordination, financial discussions, and chairside clinical assisting based on the daily needs of the practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their responsibilities, works independently, and is interested in growing into a leadership role as our practice expands. Clinical (Back Office) Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care Take digital radiographs and clinical photographs Perform iTero Lumina digital scans Maintain accurate clinical charting and documentation Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and CDC infection-control standards Maintain organized operatories and clinical inventory Assist with efficient patient flow throughout the office Front Office Responsibilities Greet patients and provide an exceptional first impression Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Assist patients with financial questions and payment arrangements Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental Support daily front office operations and patient communications Help maintain an efficient schedule and outstanding patient experience Treatment Coordination Responsibilities Present comprehensive treatment plans confidently and professionally Educate patients about recommended treatment options and benefits Review insurance estimates and explain financial responsibilities Discuss available payment options and financing Answer patient questions with confidence and compassion Follow up on unscheduled or incomplete treatment Help improve case acceptance through excellent communication and patient education QualificationsRequired Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting, treatment coordination, and front office responsibilities Comfortable working in both clinical and administrative roles Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and PPO insurance Experience with digital radiographs Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Reliable, professional, and patient-focused Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Preferred Experience with Open Dental Experience with iTero Lumina digital scanner Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required We're Looking for Someone Who Has a positive, friendly, and professional attitude Enjoys building lasting relationships with patients Communicates confidently and compassionately Takes initiative and ownership of their responsibilities Is dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Works well in a fast-paced environment Enjoys working as both a clinical and front office team member Wants to grow with a privately owned dental practice and develop leadership skills Why Join Springs Dental Care?
