Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant Hours: 32–34 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:15 am to approximately 4:45 pm (alternative workweek schedule) Compensation: Starting at $29 per hour or more, based on experience, plus bonuses Location: Rancho Bernardo / San Diego, CA 92128 Classic Dental Smiles is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone mature, warm, highly organized, and confident in helping us provide an excellent patient experience and a consistently high standard of dental care. This role is ideal for an experienced dental assistant who takes pride in clinical excellence, anticipates the needs of the doctor and patients, and works well as part of an established team. Responsibilities include: Assist the doctor during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before patient care Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records Review treatment instructions and post-operative care with patients Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for throughout their appointments Maintain proper sterilization, infection-control, and safety protocols Monitor clinical supplies and help maintain organized treatment rooms Support efficient patient flow and help the clinical schedule remain on time Communicate clearly and professionally with doctors, patients, and team members Assist with digital dentistry and other modern dental technologies (Cerec and 3D printing) Support the team in maintaining a clean, productive, and professional clinical environment Qualifications: Current California Registered Dental Assistant license required At least one year of dental assisting experience required Current CPR certification Current California radiography certification What We Offer: Full-time position Monday through Thursday schedule Compensation starting at $28 per hour, based on experience and job performance Participation in a monthly bonus plan Paid sick time After one year, 401(k) plan and paid vacation time offered Dental benefits How to Apply: Please send your resume and a brief note introducing yourself and describing your dental assisting experience, clinical strengths, and what you are looking for in your next dental office.
