PART TIME POSITION- PART TIME POSITION- PART TIME POSITION Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures. - Take and record patients' vital signs - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Take dental x-rays and process them for the dentist's review - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar Experience: - Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures is a plus - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Experience as a dental receptionist is a bonus - Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and operate imaging software (CAD, Eaglesoft) - Strong attention to detail in medical documentation Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
