Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help to ensure efficient and quality dental care for our patients. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare - Take and develop X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records Skills: The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Experience in medical documentation - Knowledge of general dentistry - Strong understanding of infection control protocols - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques - Knowledge of medical terminology - Ability to take X-rays - Experience with Dentrix software - Understanding of dental coding practices - Proficiency in four-handed dentistry Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can enhance your skills while providing essential support to our dental practice.
