We are a thriving private practice looking for a part time dental hygienist to join our team that feels like a family. We are open Monday through Thursday, closed Fridays. Our practice strives for integrity, care, and excellence. We are looking for a Full time hygienist to join our team but are open to part time opportunities as well. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Take X-rays Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Role Responsibilities Skills Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid license to practice Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment, Dentrix user Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Job Type: Full-time: Monday-Thursday License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required) Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Overland Park, KS 66213 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Overland Park, KS 66213: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
