Dental Assistant 

Green Street Dental – Pasadena, CA

Green Street Dental is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and team oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing Pasadena practice. We are a busy, modern dental office providing comprehensive care across general, cosmetic, restorative, oral surgery, endodontic, and implant dentistry.

Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant at Green Street Dental, you will play an important role in supporting our doctors and clinical team while helping create an exceptional experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced dental environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures

• Take and develop dental X-rays and assist with digital imaging

• Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols

• Provide chairside assistance during restorative, surgical, and general dental procedures

• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment

• Support patient comfort and communicate clearly throughout appointments

• Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records

• Assist with room turnover and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment

• Work closely with doctors, hygienists, and the administrative team to ensure efficient patient flow

• Help educate patients on treatment, oral hygiene, and post operative instructions when appropriate

• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a dental assistant in a busy dental practice

• Working knowledge of Eaglesoft dental practice management software preferred

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols

• Experience with digital dental X-rays and imaging systems

• Strong chairside assisting skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume dental practice

• Professional, dependable, organized, and team-oriented

• Ability to provide compassionate and attentive patient care

• Strong ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
