Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part Time

Private Periodontal Practice – Cerritos CA & Manhattan Beach

Job Type: Part-Time (1–3 days/week)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

We are a high-quality, patient-centered periodontal office seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our specialty team. Our practice focuses on advanced periodontal care, excellent communication, and an elevated patient experience. Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal maintenance, prophylaxis (as applicable), and non-surgical periodontal therapy (SRP).
• Record comprehensive periodontal charting, recession, mobility, furcation involvement, and other clinical data.
• Take digital radiographs
• Educate patients on periodontal disease, oral hygiene, and individualized home-care recommendations.
• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical notes in digital charting software.
• Follow OSHA, sterilization, and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the periodontist and team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Periodontal office experience preferred but not required—training available.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Proficiency with digital radiography and electronic charting; experience with Dentrix is a plus.
• Professional, dependable, and a team-oriented mindset.
