Our work environment includes: Small practice Modern office setting Relaxed atmosphere Responsibilities: - Assist the Endodontist during dental procedures anticipating the next step in treatment - Prepare treatment rooms in a fast efficient manner _ Anticipate office flow and prioritizing where to dedicate the next course of action - Take and dental x-rays and CT scans to capture specific areas of the tooth - Provide patient with post-operative care - Perform a brief summary to the Endodontist about Patients symptoms - Seat patients in treatment rooms in an efficient manner for optimal patient flow - Run dental lab sterilization to keep instruments available for use - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - Current certification in dental radiography - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
