Job Summary Pediatric Dental Assistant Schedule: M–F, 25–40 hours/week | Location: Tinton Falls, NJ | Pay: $18.00–$32.00/hour (DOE). CDA or RDA credentials and relevant experience may qualify candidates for higher pay within this range. Qualifications - Pediatric Dental Assistant Active X-ray license required 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred Pediatric dental experience preferred CDA or RDA certification a plus Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures Strong communication and patient-care skills Comfortable working with children and parents Reliable, organized, punctual, and detail-oriented Dentrix Ascend experience a plus Dual training in dental reception is a plus! Responsibilities - Pediatric Dental Assistant Prepare patients, operatories, instruments, and materials for treatment Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry Take required dental X-rays Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions Disinfect and sterilize instruments and operatories Maintain clean, organized, and stocked treatment rooms Maintain accurate patient records and charge out procedures Create a positive and comfortable experience for pediatric patients Assist with front-desk duties, including scheduling, phones, and payments, as needed Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance Come grow with us!
