Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Bellmore, NY
Job Overview We are an established periodontal specialty office in Nassau County, Long Island, looking for a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist who enjoys providing comprehensive periodontal care and working closely with a periodontist and surgical team. Responsibilities Provide periodontal maintenance and non-surgical periodontal therapy Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting Take necessary dental radiographs Administer local anesthesia as permitted by NYS regulations Educate patients on periodontal health and home care Assist the periodontist with patient care as needed Work proactively to keep the hygiene schedule full Review patient records and plan to identify opportunities to fill open appointments Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with NYS licensure requirements Participate in continuing education and professional development Qualifications NYS-licensed Dental Hygienist Periodontal experience preferred Excellent clinical and communication skills Professional, dependable, and compassionate Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Relocation assistance Retirement plan License/Certification: NY Dental Hygiene License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
