Dental Assistant - Yarmouth Village Dental - Yarmouth, ME

Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures -Take impressions or digital scans -Fabricate and place temporary restorations - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and update medical records - Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assistant program a plus - X-ray certification (current or willing to pursue) - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Note: Experience in dentistry is preferred but not required.
