Responsibilities include: Taking dental radiographs Assisting the dentist chairside during procedures Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments Updating patient medical histories Obtaining blood pressure readings and other patient information Taking impressions Performing various laboratory procedures Scheduling procedures and coordinating patient referrals Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, personable, and team-oriented , with a genuine interest in providing excellent patient care. Qualifications include: Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience ; 2+ years preferred Current Maine Radiology License Current CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team Desire to continue learning and expanding clinical skills Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment Certified Dental Assistant certification is a plus Experience with Eaglesoft Practice Management Software is a plus Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to spend the majority of the workday on your feet Schedule & Compensation Full-Time | 36 Hours/Week | Four Days Per Week 7:00 AM–5:00 PM $22.00–$28.75 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
