Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. You will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a sterile environment, all while delivering exceptional service to our patients. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to examinations, fillings, and extractions. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with aseptic techniques. Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing their unique needs. Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties. Skills Proficient in assisting with dental procedures and understanding of various specialties. Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for managing patient records efficiently. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental practices. Ability to apply aseptic techniques consistently in all procedures. Understanding of infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Knowledge of medical coding practices for accurate billing processes. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
