Dental Assistant – Part-Time (W, Th, F) - - Chino Hills, CA

Job Description Private office is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant with at least 3 years of hands-on dental assisting experience to join our team. We are a patient-focused general dental practice in Chino Hills seeking someone who is dependable, professional, organized, and confident working chairside. We are looking for an experienced assistant who can step into the role comfortably, anticipate the doctor’s needs, and help keep the clinical schedule running smoothly. Schedule Wednesday, Thursday & FridayApproximately 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Compensation Starting at $20/hour and up, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during general dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Take high-quality digital X-rays Assist with crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and other general dentistry procedures Assist with impressions and digital scanning Properly sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards Turn over and prepare operatories efficiently Maintain clinical supplies and equipment Document and update appropriate patient information Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients Work closely with the doctor, front office, and other team members Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience required California Dental X-Ray certification required Strong chairside assisting skills Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control protocols Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment Reliable and punctual Excellent communication and patient-care skills Professional, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Open Dental iTero or other intraoral scanners Digital dentistry General and restorative dentistry About Hillcrest Dental Studio Hillcrest Dental Studio is a growing general dental practice in Chino Hills.
