We also have referral relationships with specific specialists when needed for the best patient care. Job Summary: Our EDDAs ensure patients understand their treatment plan. Handle objections to proposed treatment. Present or co-present the treatment plan and consent. Educate patients, as necessary, regarding their dental needs. General duties are that which encompass any activity occurring at or related to the planning and administration of treatment for patients. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES Dental Assisting Experience In-depth knowledge of dentistry and ability to describe and assist with procedures in simple language Superb communication skills Familiarity with computer systems Customer service skills Self-directed Organizational skills Familiarity with ADA codes Creative problem-solving skills Ability to function within a team environment as a supportive and positive contributor Ability to work independently KEY GOALS/BENCHMARKS OF ROLE taking final impressions for permanent indirect restorations adjusting and cementing permanent indirect restorations applying sealants performing coronal polishing Designing and milling Nightguards and inhouse crowns, etc. Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Dental Insurance Vision insurance Professional development assistance Scheduling: The regular weekly schedule will be 4 days per week Minimum Requirements 3+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant; Expanded Duty Assistant training is a PLUS Excellent verbal communication skills
