Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Englewood, NJ

Englewood Dentistry is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. We are looking for someone who is friendly with patients, works well as part of a team, and can help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently. Responsibilities Assist dentists during general, restorative, surgical, and cosmetic procedures Prepare treatment rooms and properly set up instruments and materials Take and process digital dental X-rays Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment rooms according to infection-control standards Seat patients and prepare them for treatment Review and update patient medical histories as needed Take impressions and assist with scans when required Provide patients with post-operative instructions Maintain and organize dental supplies and notify management when inventory needs to be reordered Complete and manage route slips and ensure procedures are properly communicated to the front desk Turn over rooms efficiently to keep the clinical schedule running on time Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Support the dentist and other team members wherever needed Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Dentrix experience preferred Dental X-ray certification as required by New Jersey Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection-control protocols Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Friendly and professional demeanor with patients Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow with the practice Schedule MondayâThursday and every other Saturday About Englewood Dentistry Englewood Dentistry is a modern, patient-focused dental practice in Englewood, New Jersey.
