Dental Designs of Plantation is seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator / Front Office Lead to join our growing, patient-focused practice. A minimum of 2 years of dental office experience is REQUIRED. Applications without at least 2 years of dental experience will not be considered. We are looking for a confident, knowledgeable dental professional who understands both the clinical and business sides of dentistry and knows how to guide patients from diagnosis through treatment acceptance, financial arrangements, scheduling, and follow-up. This is an important role within our practice. The right candidate will be comfortable discussing treatment and finances with patients, navigating dental insurance, supporting our doctors and clinical team, and helping lead an organized, efficient front office. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred. What You'll Do Present treatment plans clearly, confidently, and compassionately Help patients understand recommended treatment and the importance of moving forward with care Discuss treatment costs, insurance benefits, patient portions, and financial arrangements Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help improve case acceptance Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Complete detailed and accurate insurance breakdowns Understand PPO plan limitations, frequencies, waiting periods, exclusions, downgrades, deductibles, annual maximums, and coordination of benefits Accurately estimate patient portions based on available insurance benefits Assist with pre-authorizations, claims, and insurance-related follow-up when needed Coordinate scheduling to support patient care, provider productivity, and efficient office flow Maintain accurate patient information and documentation in Dentrix Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team members Help lead and support day-to-day front office operations Provide an exceptional patient experience from the first conversation through treatment completion Contribute to practice growth through excellent communication, follow-up, organization, and case acceptance Required Qualifications Please carefully review the requirements below before applying. Minimum 2 years of dental office experience â REQUIRED Dentrix experience â REQUIRED Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and treatment planning Strong working knowledge of dental insurance and PPO plans Experience verifying benefits and completing detailed insurance breakdowns Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements with patients Ability to accurately calculate and explain estimated patient portions Strong understanding of claims, pre-authorizations, deductibles, annual maximums, frequencies, exclusions, and plan limitations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy dental office Professional, dependable, proactive, and team-oriented Warm, compassionate, and patient-focused approach Spanish speaking is strongly preferred. Leadership, front-office management, or team-lead experience is a plus. Who Will Succeed in This Position?
