Looking for a Dental Hygienist Who Loves People as Much as They Love Great Dental Care Capital City Smiles has been part of the Olympia community for almost 40 years, and we're looking for a hygienist to join our team — full-time or part-time, we're flexible. We're a small team that genuinely likes each other, we have fun throughout the day, and we take patient care very seriously — but never ourselves. Our patients feel like family, and we want our next hygienist to feel the same way about them. What we're looking for: Someone who's a natural at connecting with people — patients trust you fast, and you enjoy the conversation as much as the cleaning. Someone who keeps the day running smoothly (finishes on time, gets notes done same-day), communicates findings clearly to the dentist, and speaks up directly when something's not working. New grads are welcome — people skills and work ethic matter more here than years of experience. What you'll do: Cleanings, scaling and root planing, periodontal assessments Take and screen X-rays Patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care Partner with the dentist on codiagnosis — helping identify findings and talk through them with patients Chart clearly and communicate findings to the dentist Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 8 am–5 pm; Thursday, 7 am–4 pm (one-hour lunch).
