Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Orlando, FL

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and personable Dental Office Assistant Manager with the ability to join our growing dental team. This position is ideal for an experienced dental front office professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping patients, and has a strong understanding of dental insurance verification, claim submission, and schedule and team management. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English , possess excellent communication skills, and have working knowledge of Open Dental software . Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients at the front desk and over the phone Schedule patient appointments and maintain an efficient provider schedule Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, frequencies, waiting periods, and limitations Review treatment estimates and communicate patient financial responsibilities Submit dental insurance claims electronically and assist with claim follow-up when needed Coordinate pre-authorizations and insurance breakdowns Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information Ensure accurate documentation within Open Dental Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming patient experience Assist in maintaining smooth front office operations and productive daily flow Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience preferred Strong understanding of dental insurance verification and claim submission Experience with Open Dental software preferred Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Strong phone etiquette and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask Knowledge of PPO, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and HMO dental plans is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental environment What We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity for growth and advancement Supportive and team-focused work environment Stable, long-term opportunity with established dental practices If you are dependable, professional, and passionate about helping patients navigate their dental care and insurance, we would love to hear from you.
