Job Summary This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to develop as a general dentist. Most corporate jobs leave out the mentorship. This job will help a doctor that wants to develop their skills of cosmetic dentistry and full arch rehab. The doctor that takes this role will master larger cases and full arch mastery. We do a ton of veneers! Excellent communication skills are a must. Duties Perform thorough dental examinations, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical assessments, and diagnostic imaging using tools such as digital X-rays and intraoral cameras. Diagnose dental conditions accurately by applying comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and healthcare diagnosis principles. Deliver a wide array of treatments including dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry procedures. Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, documentation, and billing processes while maintaining precise medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Ensure aseptic techniques and infection control protocols are strictly followed during all procedures to safeguard patient health. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, post-operative care instructions, and answer any questions with clarity and professionalism. Collaborate with team members on patient care plans and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical workflows for four-handed dentistry efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental innovations such as dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging advancements to enhance treatment quality. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in anesthesiology preferred. Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office environment; familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA. Proficiency in performing complex procedures like dental extractions, root canal therapy, implants, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry treatments, oral surgery, prosthodontics and endodontics. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and deliver compassionate care. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient outcomes.
