We are looking for a motivated and hard working dental assistant to work in our periodontal office to assist Dr. Wiland in our Richmond office on We would conduct training at our Indianapolis location, on additional days other than Wednesdays. Job requirements include but are not limited to: -seating and dismissing patients -utilizing our dental software - periodontal charting -taking patient blood pressure - reviewing medical histories - setting up and tearing down the room for the appropriate procedure - reviewing oral hygiene instructions - reviewing take home care instructions - assisting chairside -sterilization of instruments -sterilization of rooms -stocking items used We utilize Dentrix software in the practice. X-ray certification is a plus, but not necessary. There is potential to get your x-ray certification on the job. This position is part time for Wednesdays only , with the potential of a second day based on experience.
