Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) - Jacob Roger Smith DDS LLC - Amite, LA

We are looking for a leader to help take excellent care of our patient. The ideal applicant will have EDDA dental assisting experience. Higher wage rates will be offered to more qualified candidates.. Required personal attributes include a positive attitude, compassion for patients, great time management skills, and timeliness. Some activities of this position will include general dentistry assisting chairside with a range of procedures, room setup and cleanup, instrument sterilization, office maintenance, interaction with patients and advocation for patient care, dental lab work, patient case record keeping. EDDA specific activities include seeing young hygiene patients in preparation for the doctor, conducting crown delivery appointments, and conducting denture appointments. Other tasks will be added during training but raises are offered on a merit basis as the employee increases their skill set.
