MONDAY - THURSDAY 8-5 We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to an overall positive experience for our patients. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized in compliance with infection control protocols. Perform medical documentation accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans. Take and record vital signs as needed to monitor patient health before procedures. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes. Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients. Operate 3D scanners to capture accurate images for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and effective communication within the clinic. Stay updated on medical coding practices to assist with insurance claims processing. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting is essential. Familiarity with dental software systems. Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Certification in dental assisting.
