Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant with 2+ years experience, endodontic focus a plus, to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology, along with the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontic procedures (root canals-molars, premolars, and anteriors), general dentistry and extractions. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment using the latest infection control protocols. Take clear digital radiographs and 3D CBCT scans (when applicable). Maintain accurate electronic clinical notes and patient records. Take and record vital signs as necessary to ensure patient safety. Manage patient appointments, including treatment plans, scheduling, and follow-ups. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental clinic is stocked, organized, clean, and welcoming for patients. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, with a strong endodontic experience. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Prior familiarity with infection control standards and practices. Ability to manage dental records accurately and efficiently. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well during busy times while maintaining attention to detail.
