Dental Assistant for Pediatric Dentistry Location :Washington, Mo Pay : Starting at $18+ per hour E xperience Level: Entry level; internal training provided We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Dental Assistant to join our Pediatric Dentistry team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to build a rewarding career in dental care. No pediatric dental experience is required. We provide internal training to help the right candidate develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed. Responsibilities include: ● Welcoming children and families and helping them feel comfortable ● Preparing treatment rooms and instruments for appointments ● Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures ● Following infection-control and sterilization procedures ● Taking dental X-rays once appropriately trained and certified ● Recording accurate patient information ● Providing parents and patients with instructions as directed by the dentist ● Helping maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical areas ● Supporting team members across multiple practice locations The ideal candidate is: ● Kind, patient, and comfortable working with children ● Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn ● Positive and professional ● Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment ● Willing and able to travel between Arnold, Hazelwood, and Dardenne Prairie during the initial floating period ● Committed to providing an excellent experience for patients and families Qualifications: ● High school diploma or equivalent ● Reliable transportation between practice locations ● Ability to meet applicable Missouri requirements for assigned dental assisting duties ● CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it, preferred Compensation: ● Entry level starting at $18 per hour ● Internal training and opportunities to develop pediatric dental assisting skills I f you are compassionate, motivated, and excited to begin or grow your career in pediatric dentistry, we would love to hear from you.
