Paul Campbell Orthodontics is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! No prior orthodontic or dental experience is required. We are more interested in finding someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn than someone who already knows everything. What You'll Do As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work closely with our orthodontic team and patients throughout their treatment. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the orthodontist and clinical team during patient appointments Helping patients feel comfortable and welcome Preparing treatment areas and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment Learning orthodontic procedures, instruments, and techniques Taking dental/orthodontic records as trained Providing friendly and professional patient service Helping keep appointments running smoothly and efficiently Following office procedures and maintaining appropriate safety and infection-control standards Working as part of a team to provide an excellent patient experience Don't worry if you don't know how to do these things yet — we will train you! What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm Is dependable and takes pride in their work Is comfortable working with children, teenagers, and adults Enjoys interacting with people and providing great customer service Is willing to learn and take direction Can stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment Works well as part of a team Is comfortable learning new skills and taking on responsibility Has strong communication skills Is professional, friendly, and compassionate with patients Experience Is a Plus, But Not Required No previous dental or orthodontic experience is necessary. We are happy to train the right person from the ground up. Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, childcare, hospitality, retail, or other people-focused positions can be helpful, but what matters most to us is your attitude and willingness to learn. Schedule Our regular schedule is: Monday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Plus one additional workday per week , which can be scheduled on a day and/or time that works with the needs of the practice. Our offices are located in Bellefonte, PA (two locations) and Lewistown, PA (one location) . Candidates should be comfortable working at our different office locations as needed.
