Join Our Team at Ponte Vedra Dental Group! Ponte Vedra Dental Group is a privately owned general dentistry practice that has proudly served our community for over 10 years. We have two full-time doctors, a growing team, and a strong focus on providing excellent dentistry and a high level of service to our patients. We’re looking for an experienced dental front-office professional who is confident handling the day-to-day administrative side of a busy dental practice. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with patient accounts, posting insurance and patient payments, scheduling, answering patient questions, and helping keep the front office organized and running smoothly. The right person will be friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities. You should enjoy building relationships with patients, working as part of a team, and stepping in wherever needed to make sure patients are taken care of and the front office stays on track. Prior dental front-office experience is important for this position What You'll Do As one of the first faces our patients see, you'll play an important role in creating an outstanding patient experience. Responsibilities Include Greeting patients with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail Answering phones, responding to patient questions, and scheduling appointments efficiently Checking patients out, collecting payments, scheduling future visits, and reviewing next steps Maintaining accurate patient accounts and helping resolve account questions or balances Posting insurance checks, patient payments, and other account transactions accurately Verifying insurance benefits and helping patients understand their estimated coverage and financial responsibility Presenting straightforward treatment plans and discussing payment options and financial arrangements Helping maintain an organized, productive schedule and identifying opportunities to keep the day running smoothly Communicating clearly with patients regarding treatment, appointments, financial policies, and office procedures Working closely with our doctors, hygienists, assistants, and other front-office team members to provide a seamless patient experience Taking ownership of assigned front-office responsibilities and following through until tasks are completed Helping keep the front office organized and supporting teammates when additional help is needed Contributing to a professional, positive, and team-oriented office culture What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Friendly, polished, and comfortable communicating with patients Dependable, punctual, and consistent Organized and highly detail-oriented Confident working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a busy dental office Experienced with patient accounts, insurance, scheduling, and financial conversations A strong communicator who can handle patient questions professionally and calmly Able to recognize what needs to be done without always needing direction Comfortable working as part of a team and helping wherever needed Interested in becoming a dependable, long-term part of our practice Experience Required Minimum of 3 years of dental front-office experience Strong understanding of dental insurance, patient accounts, scheduling, treatment plans, and financial arrangements Experience collecting and posting patient payments and insurance checks Experience verifying insurance benefits and explaining estimated patient responsibility Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial options with patients Dentrix experience strongly preferred Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills Compensation & Benefits Pay: $22.00–$28.00 per hour (based on experience) Benefits include: 401(k) with up to 4% company match after 6 months Paid holidays after 90 days Five paid vacation days after one year Complimentary dental treatment (lab fees only when applicable) Discounted dental treatment for immediate family In-office bonus program Why You'll Love Working Here We're a private practice (no corporate affiliations) which means we truly value our team members and the relationships we build with our patients.
