Dental Assistant (DA I / DA II) Hanover Dental Care – Montpelier, VA Full-Time | Monday–Friday Hanover Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant (DA I or DA II) to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, professional, and compassionate team member who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and supporting the clinical team. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, comfortable in a busy dental environment, and willing to work as part of a team. Schedule Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM No weekends Responsibilities Assist the dentist during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments Take dental radiographs as permitted by certification Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside assistance Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked operatories Record accurate clinical notes and patient information Provide patients with appropriate post-treatment instructions Assist with patient education and oral health instructions Follow OSHA, infection control, and office safety procedures Help maintain an efficient daily schedule Communicate effectively with the dentist, hygienists, front office, and other team members Assist other team members as needed Qualifications DA I or DA II certification/experience required Previous dental assisting experience required Current CPR certification required Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and positive attitude Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay organized Ability to work effectively as part of a team Commitment to providing excellent patient care Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Health insurance benefits Team and performance bonus opportunities Paid time off Paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Professional development opportunities Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Consistent weekday schedule No weekend hours Why Work at Hanover Dental Care?
