RDA or Dental Assistant in Saratoga, CA

We are seeking a long-term, skilled and dedicated DA/RDA to join our team. As a Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position.

Duties:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist with dental laboratory procedures, including 3D scanning
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
• Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Requirements:

- MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred
• Current CPR certification
•  Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols
• Proficiency in dental documentation software such as Dentrix
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• X-Ray and coronal polishing certificate required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to scan efficiently with iTero Scanner a BIG PLUS
