Dental Assistant position available in Wasilla, AK

The Dental Assistant will support our dentists and hygienists in delivering outstanding patient care. This role requires prior dental assisting experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
• Assist dentists during a wide variety of dental procedures.
• Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays) accurately.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and charts.
• Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort throughout each procedure.
• Manage patient flow efficiently and assist in scheduling and follow-up as needed.
• Maintain dental supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed.
• Uphold all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
