Dr. Exler & Associates is an established prosthodontic specialty practice in Encino, California, dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized dental care.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant, RDA, or RDAEF who takes pride in clinical excellence and understands the importance of creating an outstanding patient experience.

Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates who possess several of the following qualifications:

• California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Preferred
• California Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) – Highly Preferred
• 4–5+ years of dental assisting experience
• Experience in prosthodontics, restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, or another advanced specialty practice
• Strong chairside assisting skills
• Experience assisting with complex restorative and implant procedures
• Familiarity with digital dentistry and modern dental technology
• Experience with Dentrix dental software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to anticipate the doctor's and patient's needs during treatment
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, patient-focused clinical environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Positive, dependable, team-oriented attitude
• Genuine commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience

Candidates with RDAEF credentials and experience utilizing their expanded-function training in an advanced restorative environment are especially encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

Base compensation: $27.00–$38.00 per hour, depending upon experience, credentials, clinical capabilities, and qualifications, plus additional incentive opportunities.

Candidates with advanced qualifications—including RDAEF licensure and significant prosthodontic, restorative, digital dentistry, or implant experience—may qualify for compensation at the upper end of the range.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Approximately 32–40 hours per week
• Generally 8-hour shifts
• Periodic virtual or in-person training sessions may be required throughout the year

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous dental assisting experience
• Ability to reliably commute to Encino, CA 91436
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Dependability and strong work ethic
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and teamwork

RDA or RDAEF licensure is preferred but is not required for an otherwise exceptional and highly experienced candidate.
