This is a pediatric office looking for a responsible, respectful and reliable dental assistant who will work with peers in keeping the practice efficient, and pleasant for patients. The ideal Dental Assistant should be well-organized with great attention to detail. It is extremely important that you are able to follow instructions and respect office regulations. We want you to be skilled in making office procedures run as smooth as possible and able to work with combative patients. RESPONSIBILITIES Welcome parents and patients to the dental office Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort Set-up instruments, materials and equipment as needed Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Keeping dental operatory room stocked and clean Taking and developing x-rays Following infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Taking dental impressions SKILLS Dental Assistant experience is preferred Punctual Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable UNIFORM Scrubs Closed-toe shoes SCHEDULE Mondays 9am-6pm Fridays 9am-3pm (March-October) // 9am-2pm (November- February) Sundays 9am-6pm **MANDATORY** Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Are you available to work all following shifts?
