Welcome to Smile Castle Rock! We are looking for a warm, skilled, and dependable General Dentistry Assistant to join our amazing team in Castle Rock. You will be working directly alongside Dr. Radz, stepping into a well established role to provide top tier care to our wonderful patients. We offer a fantastic work schedule of 31 to 34 hours per week, featuring a late start on Mondays and an early finish on Fridays so you can really enjoy your weekends! We are offering a highly competitive pay rate of $28.00 to $34.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience. We also take great care of our team with a benefits package that includes: 401k Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Sick Time Bonus Opportunities Continuing Education Credits Free dental cleanings and dental work (you only pay the lab fee) WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Working chairside with Dr. Radz during a variety of general dentistry procedures. Performing advanced chairside procedures if you hold an EDDA certification. Warmly welcoming patients and ensuring they feel completely comfortable and at ease in the chair. Preparing treatment rooms, setting up instruments, and breaking down rooms efficiently. Taking high quality dental X-Rays and utilizing a 3D scanner for digital impressions. Maintaining strict sterilization and infection control standards. Charting patient treatments and updating medical histories accurately. Communicating smoothly with the front office and the rest of the clinical team to keep the day running on time. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Experience and Certifications: An EDDA certification is strongly preferred! If you do not have an EDDA designation, you will absolutely still be considered if you have 2 or more years of chairside experience and strong professional references . CPR Certification: A current and active CPR certification is strictly required. X-Ray Certification: An active Colorado X-Ray certification is required to legally expose radiographs, which includes having passed an approved exam like the DANB RHS. Clinical Skills: A strong understanding of general dentistry procedures, dental materials, and instrumentation. Chairside Manner: A compassionate, friendly, and patient focused attitude . Team Player: Someone who is adaptable, organized, and always willing to lend a hand to keep the clinic flowing. Software: Previous experience using Dentrix is highly preferred!
