What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant in a dental sleep medicine practice, you will work closely with our clinical and administrative teams and interact directly with patients. Your responsibilities may include: · Assisting with patient care and clinical procedures · Taking and preparing diagnostic records · Working with patients during various stages of their treatment · Educating and encouraging patients throughout their treatment journey · Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment · Learning our systems, procedures, and clinical protocols · Working as part of a team to provide an exceptional patient experience · Taking on additional responsibilities as you gain experience and demonstrate your abilities Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: · Has a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn · Is dependable, self-motivated, productively efficient, and efficiently productive · Takes pride in doing things well — even when no one is watching · Treats patients and coworkers with kindness, patience, and respect · Works well as part of a team · Is comfortable working in and around the mouth · Wants to receive feedback so they will continuously improve · Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do · Wants to grow personally and professionally · Understands that every role on our team matters · Is interested in building a long-term career, not simply finding a place to work Experience No dental or medical experience is required.
