Dental Assistant – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Tucson Emergency Dental is opening a new office in Tucson, and we’re looking for experienced Dental Assistants to join our team! If you’re dependable, motivated, and enjoy providing compassionate care in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Evening and weekend availability is required, including Sundays. What You’ll Do Assist dentists with root canal therapy, extractions, impressions, and temporary crown fabrication, within your training and permitted scope of practice. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials while helping patients feel comfortable and informed. Take and process dental X-rays as permitted by applicable state requirements. Maintain accurate electronic patient records. Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment according to infection-control protocols. Perform and document weekly spore testing and quarterly waterline testing according to office protocols. Follow office procedures and HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Provide oral hygiene education and clear postoperative care instructions. Work closely with the dental team to deliver excellent care and keep the office running smoothly. What We’re Looking For Two years of dental assisting experience. Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Applicable Arizona-required credentials for assigned duties, including radiography. Familiarity with Dentrix. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
