We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our new North Dartmouth dental office, focused on extractions, dentures, and dental implants . We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working directly with patients, and experienced with the denture process—from impressions through delivery and follow-up care. Prior hands-on experience with denture workflows, taking impressions, and denture adjustments is required. Surgical assisting experience is preferred. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive priority consideration. What You’ll Do Assist the dentist with extractions, denture treatment, and implant procedures. Take dental impressions and assist with bite registrations, try-ins, denture delivery, and follow-up visits. Assist with denture adjustments, relines, and related care under the dentist’s direction and within your authorized scope. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for restorative and surgical procedures. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards. Document treatment accurately and help keep patient records organized. Explain dentist-approved preoperative, postoperative, and denture-care instructions. Coordinate with the dental laboratory and front desk to keep cases and appointments on track. Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout treatment. Required Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience. Hands-on experience with dentures, including impressions, adjustments, and the overall denture workflow. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication. Ability to work efficiently while providing attentive patient care. Dependability, teamwork, and a professional approach. Applicable credentials for the dental assisting duties performed. Preferred Qualifications Experience assisting with surgical extractions and/or dental implant placement. Familiarity with surgical setup, sterile technique, and postoperative care. Experience with immediate dentures, overdentures, or full-arch implant cases.
