Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Hesperia, CA
Overview We are seeking a Bilingual/Spanish speaking, dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Must be able to commute to Fontana at least 2 days a week. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry and pediatrics. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take and record vital signs of patients as needed. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Assist with medical coding and billing processes as required. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures is essential. Familiarity with dental systems, medical coding, and reception duties is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
