Pediatric Dental Assistant Practice: Every Little Tooth Pediatric Dentistry Location: 2600 Taylor Road, Chesapeake, VA 23321 Phone: 757-800-1011 Email: dramy@everylittletooth.com Position: Full-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, and half-day Friday. No weekends. ABOUT THE POSITION Every Little Tooth Pediatric Dentistry is a growing pediatric dental practice in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake, Virginia, and we are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. Previous pediatric dental assisting experience and current dental radiography certification are required. We are especially looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and helping them feel comfortable and cared for during their dental visits. EVERY LITTLE TOOTH’S IDEAL CANDIDATE · Has previous pediatric dental assisting experience · Holds a current dental radiography certification · Enjoys working with children and genuinely cares about serving their families · Is friendly, compassionate, patient, and professional · Works well with others and is willing to jump in and help the team · Is organized, attentive to details, and able to prioritize multiple tasks · Is dependable and arrives on time · Communicates kindly and respectfully with patients, families, and team members PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: · Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures · Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments and materials · Review patient charts and prepare for upcoming patients · Take diagnostic dental radiographs · Perform coronal polishing · Apply sealants and topical anesthetic as permitted · Take and document vital signs · Assist with patients receiving nitrous oxide and conscious sedation · Record clinical documentation and treatment information · Provide oral hygiene education and instructions to patients and parents · Clean and disinfect treatment areas between patients · Transport and process instruments through sterilization · Maintain sterilization and infection-control standards · Restock treatment rooms and monitor clinical supplies · Support sterilization, room turnover, and teammates during natural downtime WHAT WE OFFER · Competitive pay of $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience · Friendly and supportive team environment · No weekends · Opportunity to continue developing pediatric dental skills · Opportunity for growth within the practice START THE CONVERSATION If you have pediatric dental assisting experience and genuinely enjoy working with children and families, we would love to hear from you.
