Dental Assistant (Virginia Beach & Chesapeake) Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics is growing and currently hiring energetic, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistants to join our team in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. We are seeking both entry-level candidates looking to start a rewarding career in dentistry and experienced dental assistants looking for a long-term professional home. No prior dental experience is required—we are happy to train the right person who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enjoys working with children. For candidates with previous dental assisting experience, starting pay is typically $18.00 per hour or higher , depending on qualifications and experience. We believe in recognizing hard work and dedication. Training & Career Growth The Dental Assistant must be eligible to obtain a Virginia Dental X-Ray Certification. We are committed to helping our team members succeed and grow professionally: X-ray certification costs will be reimbursed at the employee's 1-year anniversary, provided certification is obtained within 6 weeks of hire. Employees may be eligible for a pay increase after 4 months, contingent upon a positive performance review. An additional pay increase may be available after 8 months based on performance and eligibility. Additional performance-based raises may be considered for employees who quickly master training materials, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and contribute positively to the team.
