Pediatric Dental Assistant Myers Pediatric Dentistry Full-Time | 4 Days per Week | Approximately 8-Hour Shifts Compensation: Negotiable About the Position Myers Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well with patients and parents, and is committed to creating a positive and comfortable dental experience. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during exams, restorative treatment, extractions, and other pediatric procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and patients for appointments. Take Xrays, photos, impressions, and digital scans as permitted. Help children feel comfortable using calm, ageappropriate communication. Follow sterilization, infectioncontrol, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and provide posttreatment instructions as directed. Keep treatment areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for patients. Support patient flow and work collaboratively with the clinical and frontoffice teams. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Dental assisting education or certification preferred. Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric dental experience is a plus. Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain certification. Current radiology/Xray certification as required by applicable regulations. Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and dental safety procedures. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Comfortable working with children and families in a fastpaced clinical environment. Schedule FullTime 4 days per week Approximately 8hour shifts Why Join Our Team?
