Job Title: Orthodontic Assistant Company: Sacks Orthodontics Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour Sacks Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a positive clinical experience to all patients. You will maintain strict adherence to company policies as well as state dental laws, rules, and regulations under the direction and close supervision of an Orthodontist. How You’ll Make Us Better: Clinical Assistance: Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist. Patient Records: Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data, and transcribe doctor notes. Lab Work: Perform laboratory procedures under the close supervision of the Orthodontist. Remote Monitoring: Review the remote monitoring dashboard, which includes reviewing/triaging patient scans, responding to direct patient messages, and triaging notifications. Patient Education: Educate patients on proper orthodontic care and remote monitoring protocols. Sanitation: Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and the operatory following standard protocols. Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to all infection-control policies and procedures. Your Special Skills: We’re proud of our company culture and heritage of awesomeness. Experience: Some dental or orthodontic industry experience is preferred. Certifications: Must be a Registered Dental Assistant, possess a Dental Radiologic Technologist License, and CPR Certification.
