Dental Assistant – Full Time | Mon–Thurs | 3-Day Weekends Esplanade Dental Care – Downers Grove, IL $21–$27/hour, based on experience Great Dental Assisting Position. Even Better Schedule. Esplanade Dental Care is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. This position offers a Monday–Thursday schedule with no Fridays or weekends , giving you a 3-day weekend every week. We are a privately owned general and cosmetic dental practice in Downers Grove with a friendly, experienced team and a strong focus on excellent patient care. Responsibilities include: Chairside assisting for general and cosmetic dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and setting up procedures Taking quality digital radiographs Sterilization and infection-control procedures Turning over and maintaining treatment rooms Taking impressions and assisting with digital workflows Maintaining instruments, equipment and clinical supplies Accurately documenting treatment and patient information Providing patients with pre- and post-operative instructions Anticipating the doctor's needs and helping maintain efficient patient flow Working closely with our doctors, hygienists and front-office team What We're Looking For Previous dental assisting experience required Strong chairside assisting skills Comfortable taking digital X-rays Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control protocols Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures Dependable, punctual and organized Friendly and professional with patients Positive attitude and strong communication skills Team-oriented and willing to help where needed Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus, but not required Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys taking care of patients, and wants to become a long-term member of a great dental team.
