Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist with various dental procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple specialties within our practice, supporting both general and specialized dental treatments. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment for daily procedures. Take and develop dental x-rays in accordance with safety protocols and dental standards. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and radiographs. Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices. Ensure all dental equipment is properly sterilized, maintained, and functioning correctly. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with team members and patients. Support the clinic’s operations by managing appointment schedules and patient flow efficiently. Stay updated on best practices in dental assisting, including advancements in dental technology and equipment. Assist with orthodontic procedures; experience in orthodontics is considered a plus. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is required. Proficiency in performing dental x-rays is essential. Familiarity with dental terminology and equipment is necessary for effective communication and operation. Experience with various dental specialties is preferred, especially orthodontics.
