Dr. Huang is seeking a motivated and dependable Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join the team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant who is interested in growing their orthodontic skills and working alongside an experienced doctor and supportive team. While previous orthodontic experience is not required, candidates should have prior dental assisting experience and a willingness to learn. Benefits: 401(k) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 1-Hour Lunch Quarterly Bonuses On-Site Training Uniform Reimbursement Mentorship and Professional Development Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM — Once per month Requirements & Responsibilities: Previous dental assisting experience required; orthodontic experience is preferred but not required Take and maintain accurate orthodontic records, including patient photos, CBCT scans, and intraoral scans Assist with placing separators and performing banding procedures Assist the doctor with bonding labial and lingual brackets Assist with changing, tying, and untying archwires Perform adjustments involving c-chain, stainless steel ties, and K-hooks Work with SureSmile wires and distalizing archwires Submit cases for SureSmile wires and clear aligners Deliver orthodontic appliances and take impressions as needed Complete laboratory procedures, including pouring models and fabricating Essix retainers Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Provide a positive and comfortable experience for every patient Work collaboratively with the doctor and orthodontic team while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Paid time off Uniform allowance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
