Bilingual Lead Dental Assistant (Spanish) | Full-Time | Private Practice | Phoenix
Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Phoenix, AZ

We’re a doctor-led private practice in Phoenix that’s growing and building something special. We’re looking for a Lead Dental Assistant with a big personality and a bigger heart: someone outgoing and upbeat who genuinely loves getting to know patients and taking care of them. The right person is reliable, works well with others, is eager to learn, and wants to make a real difference for our patients and our team. This role takes ownership of the back office, sets a calm and organized clinical pace, and helps the whole team run smoothly.
This is not a corporate environment. We focus on quality dentistry, great patient care, and doing the small things right. Our patients aren’t numbers, and we’d love someone who remembers their names, their kids, and their vacation plans.
Schedule
Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Four days a week, which means a three-day weekend every week.
What you’ll do
- Lead day-to-day clinical flow and keep the back office running smoothly
- Make every patient feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they sit down
- Chairside assist across a variety of procedures (surgery experience is a plus)
- Coach, train, and support assistants, reinforce standards, and help build strong systems
- Set the tone for the team with energy, punctuality, and great patient care
- Oversee setup, room turnover, sterilization, and supply organization
- Manage inventory and ordering so the clinical team always has what it needs
- Take and process radiographs
- Keep communication tight between the doctor, front office, and clinical team
What we’re looking for
- Arizona Dental Radiography certification required
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience required
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
- Outgoing, friendly, and positive. Loves people, and it shows
- Genuinely enjoys building relationships with patients and putting nervous patients at ease
- Reliable and on time, every day
- Works well with others and brings energy and a positive attitude to the team
- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and always looking to grow
- Wants to make a real difference in patients’ lives
- Comfortable mentoring and setting expectations kindly and clearly
- Strong chairside skills and excellent patient communication in English and Spanish
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
Bonus points
- Surgery and implant assisting
- CAD/CAM and same-day dentistry workflows
- Prior lead or training experience
Compensation
$25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and leadership ability.
