Job Overview Sigma Dental Clinic is looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team! We welcome both experienced dental assistants and individuals who are interested in starting a career in dentistry. We are happy to provide training for someone who is eager to learn, organized, and enjoys helping patients. Our goal is to provide excellent dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patients. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after their appointments. Assist with dental X-rays and digital scanning when trained and authorized. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Update patient records and assist with basic documentation. Help with scheduling, patient communication, and front desk duties when needed. Work closely with the dentist and team to ensure a smooth patient experience. Requirements Strong interest in working in a dental office. Friendly, dependable, professional, and willing to learn. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work 2–4 days per week. Comfortable working directly with patients and assisting with clinical tasks. Willingness to learn dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and chairside assisting. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) At least 6 months of dental assisting experience. Experience with Dentrix Ascend software. Familiarity with dental X-rays, sterilization, and chairside procedures. Schedule Part-time: Approximately 2–4 days per week .
