Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Hialeah, FL
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at a reputable dental clinic. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients. Responsibilities - Prepare patients for dental procedures -Prepare the OP for the appropriate dental procedure - Assist dentists during treatments and examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient medical records using Curve or similar systems - Provide chair-side assistance for various dental procedures including pediatric, general dentistry, and prosthodontics - Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed - Perform dental receptionist duties when needed - Assist with medical imaging procedures -Scan and impressions proficiency -Manage patient consent forms Skills -Must be certified as a dental assistant -Must have experience (One year minimum) - Proficiency in handling dental clinic operations - Knowledge of Curve or similar software for managing patient records - Experience in pediatric and general dentistry procedures - Strong understanding of infection control practices in a dental setting - Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment -Speak spanish and english (most importantly english) -Be comfortable using computers If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant with a passion for patient care and possess the required skills, we welcome you to apply for this rewarding position.
