Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Houston, TX
Family and Cosmetic Dentist Houston. We're searching for an experienced Dental Assistant who will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery. A successful candidate will have a background in assisting with oral surgery procedures, including assisting with the use of special tools and equipment and providing patient care before, during and after surgery. We are seeking someone who has a commitment to helping the dental professional effectively treat their patients, is passionate about excellence in dental care and maintaining comfortable encounters for both the dentist and patient. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during dental procedures. Aid the dentist with patient care and support activities to ensure a smooth clinical workflow. Examine x-rays and dental charts; administer dental anesthetics when necessary. Handle, sterilize, and store dental equipment and instruments. Assist patients in completing the necessary paperwork for their dental records. Take radiographs (x-rays); clean up x-rays and disposal equipment afterwards. Greet patients and answer questions about procedures performed by dentist.
