Overview Looking to hire ASAP for an experienced registered dental assistant for a new dental office. We are located off of Gosling Rd near 99. As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), your expertise will directly enhance patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional dental services. In this vital role, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a smooth and welcoming clinic environment. Your energetic and detail-oriented approach will help create positive experiences for every patient, from routine check-ups to complex treatments. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management and dental sterilization procedures. Take dental x-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety protocols. Manage patient records using Open Dental. Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluations. Provide patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout treatment. Maintain clinical cleanliness by following aseptic techniques and infection control policies aligned with healthcare infection prevention standards. Support administrative duties including patient management software use, scheduling appointments, and assisting the dental receptionist when needed. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations. Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting, preferably with exposure to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or endodontics. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and the operation of dental equipment such as 3D scanners and dental x-ray units. Strong knowledge of Open Dental (can help with training if needed). Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, dental sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection control practices. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently with four-handed dentistry techniques. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry protocols is a plus.
